Fiji is an island group in the South Pacific, north of New Zealand and East of Australia. Nakia Resort & Dive is located on Taveuni, the third largest island in Fiji. Known as the Garden Island of Fiji, Taveuni is a spectacularly beautiful paradise of rain forest, farms, and gardens, approximately 60 kilometers long and 25 kilometers wide.
Air Travel
It's not difficult to fly to Fiji. Fiji's Nadi International Airport hosts daily direct international flights from Sydney (4 hours), Auckland (3 hours), Honolulu (6 hours), and Los Angeles (10 hours).
Fiji's domestic airlines, Air Fiji and PacificSun, provide daily service to Taveuni's Matei airfield from Nadi and Suva, Fiji's capital. Flying time is between 60 and 90 minutes.
Inter-island ferry
Regularly scheduled ferries carry cargo, vehicles and passengers between Taveuni and ports on the other islands.
